Blogging Safety

You must be very careful on blogs and social networks that you don't give away too much information about yourself.  If you do, anyone could track you down.  Here are some do's and don'ts of blogging.

        Don't:

• Show your address.
• Show your e-mail.
• Show details about where you are going and what you are doing. e.g. When you are meeting up with someone.
• Show your home phone or cell phone number.
• Never, ever meet up with someone you have met on the internet, it could be anyone.

        Do:

• Show your first name.
• Show what you enjoy.
• Only show details which wont allow other people to track you down. e.g. Either your last name or school.
• Use your common sense.
